It has a 4.9″ barrel, 1911 style Ambidexterous thumb safety, adjustable rear sight and Hi-Viz front sight, and bottom rail for mounting accessories. The Ruger 57 is also optics ready with the addition of the Ruger Optics Adapter Plate ($32.95) which is compatible with a number of red dot sights including Burris and Vortex.
